After that Sunday was pretty much a downtime day, spent trying to recover from the weekend. We just hung out in our rooms a little and didn't do much. I did do some entertaining with my newly bought guitar though.
That was about it for Sunday.
Yesterday we spent a lot of the day trying to figure out when our classes are this week, because they keep getting changed because of mandatory field trips and travel plans and none of the students all being in Oxford at precisely the same times. I was supposed to have class yesterday, but it moved to 3 today. But then before high table dinner we had a lecture by Ian Archer about Keble College here in Oxford. It was boring as crap. I don't really know why we needed to know the entire history of Keble College, as there's not anything especially significant about it, and we have no reason to go there really. It was like Thursday Night Dinners at the Academy (for anyone that knows what that is) all over again.
But then we finally got dinner and it was pretty good.
We had some weird shrimp salad for starters, so they had to make a separate one for me...it had these tiny little boiled eggs in it...they definitely weren't chicken...I'm not sure what it was, but it wasn't good. For the main course we had Guinea Fowl with pea risotto and portobello mushrooms. I don't know what a Guinea Fowl is but it was basically chicken. The risotto was actually pretty good, and I ended up eating about 50 mushrooms since no one around me seemed to want theirs. Then we had some weird raspberry thing for dessert and it was gross.
After dinner, John Thomas also decided he needed a hair cut. So he got one.

That's it for Sunday and Monday. Time for lunch now, and then we're gonna start planning out Scotland.
